A person who performs or offers to perform a service voluntarily.
There are those individuals who enjoy volunteering. They enjoy the pride they feel when performing a voluntary service. They like to do for others and their reward is personal. There are those individuals who do not enjoy volunteering. They do not wish to participate in a volunteer capacity. They do not see a reward or even see the benefits.
