    Easton Lions Peace Poster Competition announces three winning artists from the Easton Middle School for "A Celebration of Peace" Posters. Meray Nemr, age 11 and student at the Easton Middle School, took the first step to becoming an internationally recognized artist. Our 2nd place winner was Abbey DeCortito, and 3rd place winner was Alison Hupper.

    It was a warm Sunday afternoon and lots of family and children showed up for the annual Halloween Parade of the Horribles to support the Easton Food Pantry and supported by the Easton Lions Club. We had about 14 Lions members help to make this year’s parade another fun event. At about 4:30, the parade kicked-off... (Photos on our facebook page, video on Vimeo)

    The Easton Lion’s held its annual "Build a Scarecrow Day" at the Yardley Wood Rink on October 29, 2016. A lot of families showed up throughout the day to make some scary and beautiful Halloween creations. This year we had 20 entrants and had the Easton Garden Club judge the creations.

    It is always a pleasure to serve our Senior Citizens each year at the annual seniors’ cook out. It is one of the ways that we show those who have lived and served in our community that they are not forgotten; that they are respected and loved. We consider it an honor and an act of thanks and love for these older citizens. The cook out was named after Tom Hedrick, a beloved Lion who passed from us a few years ago.

    By 1931 Easton was certainly a community in need because America was deep in the Great Depression. Bill Fenwick, stationmaster at the North Easton Depot, wanted to do something to help his town. He and his friends decided to call in the Gillette Brothers, paid fundraisers for the Lions Club, for a meeting at the Minnetonka Restaurant on September 16th. The Minnetonka was centrally located at the junction of Belmont and Washington Street, and it was hoped the meeting would attract men from all over town.
